Bio

Slyvia Tetteh is a Master’s student in the MALS program and a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment in agriculture, with a strong focus on gender, technology, and economic development. She holds a BA in Economics and Information Studies from the University of Ghana and a Global Leadership Certificate from Cornell University.

As Co-Founder and Director of Women Who Farm Africa, Slyvia leads initiatives that empower women in rural communities through training, project implementation, and technical support. Her work spans Ghana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, where she designs and delivers programs that equip women farmers with skills in agricultural value chains, technology adoption, and entrepreneurship.

For Slyvia, agriculture is more than food production; it is about growing people, building communities, and shaping futures. Her mission is to ensure that women are not only participants but leaders in Africa’s agricultural transformation.
