GES Colloquium Speaker Prep Form

Thank you for agreeing to speak at the GES Colloquium!

Please complete the form below at least 3 weeks prior to your scheduled date (the sooner the better!) so that we may share your talk via our website, newsletter, and social media.

We are asking for a fair amount of information here, so if you are unable to complete it all at once, you have the option to "Save and Continue Later," which will automatically send you an email with a link to finish it later. After submitting the form, you will receive an email confirmation with all of your responses.

  • Length: Keep your bio concise and to the point. Aim for around 100-200 words.
  • Third Person: Write your bio in the third person. This creates a more professional tone, improves readability, and will allow us to easily use your bio for introductions, announcements, and social media without needing to rephrase it.
  • Professional Experience and Interests: Highlight your relevant academic and/or professional experiences, interests, expertise, and achievements. This could include notable projects and accomplishments specifically related to your presentation topic.

    • Virtual if you will be giving your presentation via Zoom.
