In this informal conversation\, Dr. Diana Bowman will reflect on how law\, regulation\, and institutions can respond more thoughtfully to emerging technologies across areas such as public health\, nanotechnology\, precision medicine\, and smart cities. Before joining RMIT\, she served as Associate Dean for Applied Research and Partnerships and Professor of Law at Arizona State University\, where her work bridged law\, public health\, sustainability\, and innovation. Her research examines the governance and regulation of emerging technologies\, with a focus on how legal and policy systems can foster innovation while engaging the ethical\, legal\, and societal dimensions of technological change.
