Dominic Reisig\, Fred Gould\, and Dawn Rodriguez-Ward. \nDestinations\n\nThurs 8/1- Friday 8/2 in Raleigh and Clayton\, NC\nSunday 8/4 – Saturday 8/10 in Columbia\, NC\n\nField Course Objectives\n\nTo give students hands-on experience with farming systems and interdisciplinary team-building skills\nAfter completing this course\, students will have a basic understanding of:\n\n\nLocal farmer practices\, decision-making\, and concerns\nPositive and negative impacts of engineered crops on FEW systems\nPerspectives of environmental groups and local citizens\nResponsible and effective engagement with diverse publics\n\n\n
