Dr. Rebekah Rogers ‘Genomic disintegration in woolly mammoths on Wrangel Island’

Genomic disintegration in woolly mammoths on Wrangel IslandZoology Graduate Student Association and the Genetic Engineering and Society Center have teamed up to host Dr. Rebekah Rogers from UNC Charlotte (http://evolscientist.com/)Refreshments will be served at 3:15pm.*If youwould like to meet with Dr. Rogers before the seminar, we will have 30 minute slots open for individual meetings between 10am-3pm. We will also havea grad student lunch from 12:00-1:00pm.***Please RSVP for an individual meeting or the grad student lunch to Sean Griffin (srgriff2@ncsu.edu)Following the seminar we will have a departmental potluck at the home of John Godwin and Beth Hawkins (920 Merwin Road, Raleigh). The potluck will start at 6:00pm and the department will provide a main dish. Please bring a side dish or beverage to share.
