Part of the Equity Research Symposium | Talley Student Union, Room 3222 on Wednesday, 3/8 @ 1:45pm-3:00pm
REGISTER BY MARCH 1Our goal is to bring people together from diverse disciplines and departments who have experience creating inclusive spaces and/or have already developed resources and tools to prepare their students entering the field and / or laboratory settings. Our group acknowledges that students with identities that have been historically and systemically excluded and marginalized, including minoritized races and ethnicities, international students, and gender and sexual minorities, face unique challenges in the lab and field. Therefore, we would like to join existing parallel efforts and amplify each other’s work by sharing experiences, resources, and encouraging commitments.
Please email Dawn Rodriguez-Ward at dtward2@ncsu.edu if you would like to attend this session so that we can send you a calendar invite. We would also appreciate it if you could forward this email to any colleagues that would be interested in attending and/or have already created resources and tools that we should know about.
Thanks for spreading the word about this session. We hope to see you there!
