Field Course Objectives
- To give students hands-on experience with farming systems and interdisciplinary team-building skills
- After completing this course, students will have a basic understanding of:
- Local farmer practices, decision-making, and concerns
- Positive and negative impacts of engineered crops on FEW systems
- Perspectives of environmental groups and local citizens
- Responsible and effective engagement with diverse publics
